Qualifications

• One year of cardiac sonographer experience.
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification required.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced non-invasive imaging procedures for Cardiac Laboratories.
• Performs proper billing of procedures and prioritizes patient scheduling.
• Coordinates and prioritizes patient scheduling to ensure timely procedure completion.
• Obtains patient information and answers questions about procedures, maintaining courtesy at all times.
• Notifies medical staff of significant abnormal findings.
• Documents procedures in patient chart to inform the physician of completion.
• Calculates cardiovascular measurements from procedure data to aid diagnosis.
