Job summary

Medix is seeking a Senior/Lead Cardiac Telemetry Technician or Minnesota-licensed RN to oversee continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring and lead a shift in a fast-paced environment. You will mentor staff, ensure data integrity, and escalate clinically when needed.

The role combines hands-on telemetry with SME-level training and coordination of workflow to maintain high patient safety and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Minnesota or CCT/CRAT certification with 60-day credentialing window.
• 10+ years in cardiac telemetry/monitoring with medical terminology and data practices.
• Previous lead/shift-level resource experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform real-time telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
• Measure and document rhythm strips within established timeframes.
• Identify abnormal changes and escalate to nurses/providers.
• Prepare and distribute patient trend reports.
• Serve as SME and mentor monitoring staff.
• Lead onboarding, coaching, and competency checks.
• Provide real-time feedback and escalate staffing/quality concerns.
