Position Summary:

Responsible for conducting inpatient and outpatient echocardiograms and Doppler flow analysis of the heart and related structures for use by physicians in diagnosing heart disease and conducting heart studies.

Education/Experience:

Work requires the level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of two years of occupationally-specific education or an Associate’s degree in Cardiography, Ultrasound, or a closely related field.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Work requires analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations where the information or problems are relatively routine.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written, along with empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
