Job summary

Heywood Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Lead Cardiac Sonographer and Supervisor to manage daily cardiac testing operations, ensuring high-quality imaging and efficient workflow.

You will lead education initiatives, supervise staff, and coordinate with cardiology and nursing teams to optimize patient care and satisfaction. The role requires advanced expertise in cardiac sonography, strong leadership, and a commitment to professional development of staff and students.

Qualifications

• Formal training from an accredited medical sonography program specializing in cardiac imaging.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• ARDMS RDCS or CCRCS certification is preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of cardiac testing and address non-compliant issues with Sr Practice Manager.
• Develop staff schedules to meet patient and department needs; adjust for appointment availability.
• Maintain optimum image quality and timely report turnaround for cardiologists.
• Coordinate training, coaching and mentorship for students and staff; manage student clinical experiences.
