Job summary

Hilo Benioff Medical Center seeks an Imaging Specialist IV / Multi-Modality Specialist to perform advanced cardiac ultrasound and collaborate with cardiology teams. You will ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging and maintain equipment in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires ARDMS/ARRT certification, a radiologic technology degree, and 1.5 years imaging experience plus specialized ultrasound experience. Shift coverage includes weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology with certification.
• Experience meeting state and department protocols.
• Knowledge of ultrasound physics and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures (TTE, TEE, stress echo).
• Assess history, select imaging protocols, produce diagnostic images.
• Document findings and ensure QA standards.
• Prepare and educate patients before/during/after procedures.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and department operations.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams; engage in continuing education.
