Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Homewood, AL seeks a Cardiovascular Imaging professional to perform diagnostic imaging for cardiovascular procedures. You will collaborate with medical staff, ensuring high-quality images, patient safety, and education during procedures.

The role requires extensive cardiac scrub experience, current BLS/ACLS, RCES within 24 months, and on-call availability. Opportunity to grow within a multidisciplinary cardio team and contribute to patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ten (10) years Cardiac scrub experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification; PALS may be required depending on unit needs.
• Must obtain RCES certification in 24 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Serves as a role model for the Cardiology department and supports its strategies.
• Communicates and collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to plan and manage the department.
• Delivers appropriate care while ensuring successful completion of procedures and protocols.
• Assesses patient condition and age-specific needs.
• Ensures patient education on procedures, safety, and comfort.
• Position patient/equipment and manipulate factors to obtain high-quality images.
• Maintains aseptic technique and monitors physiological stability during procedures.
• Supports the Physician as a scrub assistant for cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintains inventory and ensures tools are available and functional.
• Works evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call as scheduled.
