Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiac Scrub professional to support cardiovascular procedures and imaging in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will collaborate with the medical staff to plan and execute procedures while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

The role requires extensive Cardiac Scrub experience, current BLS/ACLS, and RCES certification within 24 months. This on-site position emphasizes teamwork and adherence to department protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ten (10) years Cardiac Scrub experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification; PALS may be required depending on unit specific needs.
• Obtain RCES certification within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a role model for the Cardiology department and supports its strategies.
• Collaborates with medical staff to plan and manage department procedures.
• Delivers appropriate care while ensuring successful completion of procedures and patient age-specific needs.
• Ensures patient education on procedures, safety, and comfort is provided.
• Accurately documents patient history and maintains complete records.
• Positions patient and equipment to obtain high-quality images for interpretation.
• Adheres to radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
