Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a Capture Strategy & Operations Sr. Lead for the X-BAT FoS to strengthen strategy, proposals, and operating rigor within the Capture organization.

You will translate leadership direction and customer needs into compelling materials and coordinated execution plans. As a core member of the team, you will manage complex, cross-functional proposal efforts, write rigorous responses, and develop win themes while collaborating with multiple departments and ensuring alignment with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, Master’s with 4+ years, or PhD with 2+ years.
• 2+ years in management consulting, capture strategy, operations, or similar.
• Experience supporting complex defense, aerospace, or government pursuits.
• Strong ability to develop and write RFI/RFP/RFQ responses and related materials.
• Exceptional PowerPoint, written communication, editing, and QA skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine capture strategies for priority domestic and international pursuits.
• Translate customer priorities into differentiated capture approaches and win themes.
• Create leadership-ready strategy presentations and pursuit-planning materials.
• Lead development of analytically rigorous responses to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and white papers.
• Coordinate across technical, program, business development, finance, legal, international, and product teams.
• Ensure materials align with customer requirements and Shield AI messaging.
