Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Senior Executive Underwriter to manage and profitably grow Captive programs in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of underwriting experience in Auto Liability, Workers’ Compensation, and General Liability.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing flexibility in the workplace. You will engage with internal and external partners to ensure underwriting excellence and maintain strong client relationships.

The salary range for this position is $124,000 to $199,800 annually, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Auto Liability, Workers’ Compensation, and General Liability underwriting experience.
• Experience with Captive insurance programs is desirable.
• Strong loss responsive or captive program and pricing knowledge.
