Job summary

Financial Edge in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee financial and regulatory reporting for captive insurance clients, including PCCs and RRGs. The role reports to the U.S. team in Vermont and collaborates with colleagues across the U.S. market.

The position requires CPA or MBA or equivalent certification and 5–10 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel and GL software skills, and willingness to travel up to 25% to the U.S. for business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• CPA, MBA or other relevant professional certification preferred.
• Range of 5 to 10 years of experience; direct captive management experience a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and general ledger/financial accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies for prospective captive insurance clients.
• Support leadership in developing strategies to enhance engagement within the existing client base.
• Manage all aspects of financial reporting for assigned client accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives across risk management, corporate accounting, tax, legal, and other areas.
• Establish and enhance client service processes to ensure quality and timeliness of financial reporting and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate efforts with external service providers to proactively meet client needs.
• Collaborate with clients to optimize performance of their captive insurance companies and develop innovative solutions.
• Prepare and present materials for client board meetings.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
