Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance/accounting/risk management.
• 10–15 years of experience in finance, accounting, insurance, risk management, or related field.
• Experience with captive insurance financial operations, insurance accounting, and risk financing programs.
• CPA, CPCU, ARM or related certifications preferred.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Directs financial management, accounting, and reporting activities for enterprise insurance and captive programs.
• Oversees claims accounting, loss reserving, collateral management, and insurance-related financial reporting.
• Develops and maintains general ledger structures, allocation methodologies, and financial processes supporting insurance and risk management programs.
• Leads financial analysis and modeling for renewals, risk retention strategies, and total cost of risk evaluation.
• Collaborates with Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, brokers, carriers, auditors, and external partners to support financial governance.
• Oversees team operations, work priorities, and performance related to insurance finance and accounting functions.

Education
