Job summary

Advantage Insurance seeks a senior professional to lead financial and regulatory reporting for captive insurance portfolios. The role covers single-parent and group captives, PCCs and RRGs, delivering reporting and consulting to U.S. clients.

Based at our Puerto Rico headquarters and reporting to the U.S. team in Vermont, you will collaborate with risk, tax, legal and accounting colleagues, and travel up to 25% to the U.S. when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• CPA, MBA or other relevant professional certification preferred.
• 5 to 10 years of experience; direct captive management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies for prospective captive insurance clients.
• Support leadership in developing strategies to enhance engagement within the existing client base.
• Manage all aspects of financial reporting for assigned client accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives across risk management, corporate accounting, tax, legal, and other functions.
• Establish and enhance client service processes to ensure timely financial reporting and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with external service providers (actuaries, auditors, investment managers, brokers, claims adjusters, outside counsel).
• Collaborate with clients to optimize captive performance and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.
• Prepare and present materials for client board meetings.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
