Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university is preferred.
• Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.
• Four or more years of capital project management and execution experience; Six Sigma Greenbelt (or Blackbelt) is a plus.
• Experience with SAP and project controls tools; strong budgeting, scheduling, and cost control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and technical direction over a team of engineers and designers for capital projects.
• Manage the execution of capital investments through their life cycles, including scope, budgeting, procurement, construction, startup and closure.
• Ensure safe project execution with HSE compliance and safety audits.
• Coordinate with site leadership, analysts, controllers and vendors to optimize resources and AR delivery.
• Lead project controls activities, including estimating, scheduling, cost control and earned value management.
• Report progress to managers and stakeholders and maintain accurate forecasts.
