Ecovyst Inc. seeks a Lead Estimator to act as the technical authority for capital cost estimating in the North American portfolio. You will own FEL estimates from concept through Class 1, validating budgets and supporting funding decisions.

Responsibilities include developing and reviewing AACE class estimates, building a Basis of Estimate, and guiding governance through FEL stages. Strong Excel and risk analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 8+ years of capital cost estimating experience in petrochemical/related industries.
• Experience preparing and reviewing AACE Class 5–3 estimates for large projects.
• Familiar with FEL stage-gate processes and PDRI.
• Strong Excel and estimating software experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop owner-side estimates across FEL stages for diverse projects.
• Review and validate estimates from multiple sources and document findings.
• Lead contingency development using range estimates and Monte Carlo methods.
• Maintain historical cost data, BOE standards, and estimating templates.
• Support capital budget development and governance with cost inputs.
