Ecoservices is seeking a Lead Estimator to serve as the technical authority for capital cost estimating across the North American portfolio. You will own Front-End-Loading cost bases, validate contractor budgets, and support funding decisions from FEL1 through Class 1 Estimates at Completion.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, expertise in AACE methods, PDRI familiarity, and strong Excel/estimator software skills to deliver accurate, auditable estimates and mentorship across project teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 8+ years of capital cost estimating experience in petrochemical, refining, chemical, or related process industries.
• Experience preparing and reviewing AACE Class 5 through Class 3 estimates for projects up to $25MM or more.
• Working knowledge of FEL stage-gate processes and Project Definition Rating Index (PDRI).
• Hands-on experience with risk-based contingency analysis (range estimating and Monte Carlo).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and experience with commercial estimating software (Aspen, Richardson, Icarus, Compass).
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to defend estimates to senior leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare owner-side AACE Class 1–5 estimates and own the cost basis for FEL lifecycle estimates across projects in petrochemical and related sectors.
• Develop BOEs defining scope, quantities, pricing sources, labor productivity, escalation, exclusions, and assumptions.
• Benchmark estimates against historical data and industry data; document reconciliations for outliers.
• Mentor project engineers and collaborate with the FEL Gatekeeper to ensure gate deliverables are met and properly challenged.
