Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary capital projects across our manufacturing operations in the Waterville, OH or Etowah, TN sites. You will own scopes from concept through commissioning, partnering with plant leadership and engineering teams to deliver value.

The role demands a track record in managing $1M–$20M+ projects, strong leadership, and travel up to 40–50%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proven project management experience with projects ranging from $1M to $20M+.
• Experience managing contractors and bid processes.
• Ability to travel 40–50% across North America.

Responsibilities

• Lead all technical and commercial aspects of large, complex capital projects.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, deliverables, execution, and reporting.
• Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to agreed scope.
• Oversee multiple projects concurrently and drive them to completion.
• Develop project scopes, specifications, schedules, and investment-grade cost estimates.
• Perform mechanical and/or electrical detail engineering.
• Ensure designs meet safety, quality, cost requirements.
• Develop acceptance criteria and project documentation.
