Johns Manville seeks a Senior Electrical and Controls Engineer to lead electrical control projects across North America. The role encompasses rigorous design, documentation, and hands-on implementation for manufacturing facilities. Travel 40–60% is expected to support project deployments and plant operations.

The candidate will develop scopes, perform engineering calculations, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of control systems engineering in a continuous or discrete manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI applications including programming.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E Electrical Safety standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical controls engineering for projects from concept to commissioning.
• Prepare and review technical electrical specifications for equipment and processes.
• Support corporate specifications and standards implementation.
• Provide project management oversight across multiple projects.
• Coordinate supplier and contractor activities, including on- and off-site commissioning.
