Job summary

Flagstar Bank is seeking a Senior Commercial Loan Operations Capital Markets Specialist in Hicksville, NY to lead end-to-end administration of syndicated loans, participations, and capital markets deals. You will coordinate with agent banks and participants, board loans in servicing systems, and ensure accurate records and regulatory compliance.

Experience with syndicated loans and capital markets operations.
Strong knowledge of credit agreements, participation certificates, and loan documentation.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary SME and external POC for syndicated loan and capital markets transactions with agent banks and participants.
Board/oversee boarding of syndicated loans into the servicing system and ensure accurate setup.
Reconcile loan positions, interest accruals, and fee calculations; research discrepancies with finance teams.
Process participant payments and ensure timely settlement.
Administer agency notices and related communications; maintain audit-ready records.
Support amendments, lender assignments, and ownership transfers with system updates.
Maintain syndication records and support audits and regulatory examinations.
