Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Associate Director-Capital Infrastructure Projects to lead capital infrastructure initiatives for electric and gas utilities. You will manage cross-functional teams, deliver advisory services, and oversee major programs across the Southwest region, including grid transformation and technology upgrades.

The role requires strong program delivery experience and client engagement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, finance, or related field with 7+ years PM experience in the power utilities sector.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
• Experience with stakeholder and financial management.
• Ability to visualize data and make data-driven decisions.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite with clients.

Responsibilities

• Managing and mentoring project teams and coordinating projects and workstreams.
• Monitoring and evaluating project activities and overall performance.
• Contributing to project planning, budgeting, and strategy.
• Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining project documentation and reports.
• Overseeing contracts and financials for projects.
• Establishing and reporting on key performance indicators.
• Analyzing project data and providing insights to optimize performance.
• Identifying problems and proposing solutions.
• Providing operational support with stakeholder liaison and timelines.
• Coaching on project management methodology adoption.
