Job summary

Guidehouse seeks an Associate Director-Capital Infrastructure Projects in Phoenix, AZ to lead and grow a portfolio of utility projects. You will collaborate with the Arizona Account Director to deliver major capital infra, power generation, transmission, and distribution initiatives in the Desert Southwest.

You will drive program leadership, financial management, regulatory compliance, and technology transformation while coaching teams and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, finance, public policy and/or related discipline AND 7+ years’ post-graduation project management experience in the power utilities sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage stakeholder and financials.

Responsibilities

• Managing and mentoring project teams and coordinating projects and workstreams.
• Monitoring and evaluating project activities and overall performance.
• Contributing to project planning, budgeting, and strategy.
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation and reports.
• Overseeing contracts and financials; reporting on KPIs.
• Analyzing project data to optimize performance; identifying and solving issues.
• Liaising with stakeholders; tracking timelines; coaching on project management methods.
