GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Senior Capital Equipment Engineer for metal stamping. Based in Louisville, KY, you will lead end‑to‑end capital equipment projects, from design through installation and launch, to improve OEE and reliability.

You will apply APQP, Lean, and TPM methods while ensuring EHS compliance and collaboration with functional teams across manufacturing. This role requires 15–20% travel and a strong engineering background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent hands‑on manufacturing experience.
• 4+ years with metal stamping equipment and capital projects, including procurement/installation.
• 2+ years managing large metal stamping equipment projects (mechanical/servo transfer or progressive dies).
• Experience applying APQP and lean manufacturing principles in equipment development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of large metal stamping presses and auxiliary equipment.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, risks, and overall progress to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Engineer equipment solutions to optimize OEE, reliability, and long‑term performance.
• Apply APQP principles throughout equipment and process development.
• Ensure compliance with industry and governmental EHS standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on TPM, Lean, and MCIs/DFMA initiatives.
