Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in Louisville, KY. You will lead capital equipment projects, optimize processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing.

You will drive TPM practices, develop MCPs/MCIs, and work with design teams to embed DFMA. Strong communication and GD&T knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years hands on experience in manufacturing equipment and processes.
• 3+ years’ experience managing capital equipment procurement projects.
• Experience with packing equipment and robotic automation preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• GD&T knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Scheduler and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital equipment procurement projects from specification to qualification.
• Ensure tooling and equipment maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Own program metrics: manufacturing labor plan, equipment and tooling budgets, and quality of in-house parts/product.
• Perform trade-off analyses on competing metrics and drive decisions based on business impact.
• Develop manufacturing processes with cross-functional input and TPM concepts.
• Develop MCPs and MCIs with cross-functional involvement.
• Ensure safety considerations in equipment implementation with EHS.
• Collaborate with design to ensure DFMA is incorporated.
