Job summary

Clearbrook seeks a Lead Capital Actuary to spearhead regulatory and rating agency capital models for the company and its insurance brands. The role is on-site in Omaha, NE, with options for Albany, NY, New York, NY, or Chicago, IL.

This is a fully in-office position requiring regular collaboration with senior leaders. You will develop real-time capital views, forecast capital needs, and embed capital metrics in strategic decisions while coordinating with the CRO, CFO and CEO across finance,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial, Finance or Science.
Qualified actuary.
8+ years of experience in capital function including modelling and analysis.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine the capital, liquidity, and dividend strategy with senior leaders.
Create a real-time capital position view and forecast aligned with business plans.
Design a framework to maximize capital efficiency across the organization.
Embed capital metrics into strategic decision-making and reporting.
Lead end-to-end capital projects and governance improvements.
Support risk management activities including stress and scenario modelling.
