Zusammenfassung

ProPetro seeks a Chief Accounting Officer to lead all accounting, financial reporting, and controllership functions, ensuring GAAP-compliant financial statements and timely SEC filings.

The CAO will drive technical accounting, internal controls, SOX compliance, and close processes, partnering with external auditors and the CFO. Onsite in Midland or Tomball, with travel to HQ as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred; 15+ years in accounting and financial reporting.
• CPA license; 15+ years with leadership in accounting/financial reporting.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, SOX, and internal controls.
• Experience leading external audits and working with Audit Committees and Boards.
• Experience in power/energy or oilfield services industries; M&A and ERP transformation.
• Onsite requirement in Midland, TX or Tomball, TX with travel to HQ.

Aufgaben

• Lead all accounting, financial reporting, and controllership functions.
• Oversee SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q) and non‑GAAP disclosures.
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation processes.
• Lead technical accounting evaluations and policy setting for significant transactions.
• Oversee income tax accounting (ASC740) with external advisors.
• Maintain SOX compliance and internal controls; manage disclosures committee liaison.
• Collaborate with CFO, Audit Committee, and external auditors.
• Support M&A activities, capital markets, and automation initiatives.
