Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center in Richmond, VA seeks a Senior Operations Research Manager to provide senior-level operational leadership for survivorship, palliative care, cancer genetics, integrative health, nutrition, and external partnerships. You will build and sustain regulatory, project-management, data, grant, and evaluation infrastructure to advance clinical and health-services research.

Qualifications

• PhD or complete PhD in health-related field within hire window.
• Experience in clinical research operations and sponsored programs.
• Strong communication and leadership for cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead standardized research operations across the Cancer Service Line.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality controls for studies.
• Oversee grant and budget management, reporting, and sustainability planning.
• Develop data dashboards and analytics for program evaluation.
• Manage and mentor research staff and project teams.
• Engage community partners and sponsors in research initiatives.
• Prepare briefings and executive-level reporting.
