Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to support cancer center trials (Phase I–IV) with data management, regulatory compliance, and sponsor communications. You will work within the Clinical Trials Unit under the CRM to ensure high-quality trial conduct and patient coordination.

The role involves site communications, training staff, and contributing to process improvements while adhering to GCP, SOPs, and university policies. Strong multitasking and teamwork required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent required.
• Experience coordinating cancer-related clinical trials preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cancer trials (Phase I–IV) in accordance with GCP, SOPs and UC policies.
• Attend clinics to assist the PI with recruitment, screening, consent, questionnaires and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate trial information in the clinical trial management system (OnCore) and regulatory records.
• Serve as liaison to sponsors, regulatory agencies, and national cooperative groups.
• Provide training and guidance to junior coordinators and improve internal processes.
