Job summary

Houston City College seeks a Campus Operations Manager to oversee campus and project management related to the college facility environment and to support instructional and student services programs.

You will supervise FT and PT campus managers, promote safety, and coordinate with District Facilities on renovations, scheduling, and operations while maintaining a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5 years of administrative experience required.
• Campus management in a community college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise campus activities directly or through personnel.
• Collaborate with District Facilities and Emergency Management to meet safety standards.
• Coordinate major projects with district facilities and contractors.
• Establish a positive learning environment for administrators, staff and students.
• Serve as Safety Officer and coordinate training.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Hire, train and evaluate campus staff.
• Prepare departmental reports as requested.
