Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking an experienced Resident District Manager to lead the dining program at UMass Dartmouth. The role oversees a large, multi-unit operation, drives profitability, and serves as the primary liaison between Chartwells and the university.

The position requires strategic leadership, client relationship skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences for students, faculty, staff, and guests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum of three years of management experience in foodservice or related field.
• Proven track record of leading a business and a team with strong customer service.
• Demonstrates strong financial acumen and ability to manage profitability.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large on-site dining operation and multi-unit team.
• Drive financial and operational performance for the account.
• Build strong client relationships and act as brand ambassador.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• Develop teams and foster innovation, inclusion and excellence.
