Chartwells Higher Education is seeking an experienced Resident District Manager to lead the dining program at Babson College. This senior on-site role oversees a large multi-unit operation, drives financial and operational performance, and serves as the primary liaison between Chartwells and the university.

The successful candidate will shape campus dining, develop teams, and foster a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of management experience, preferably in contract foodservice.
• 5-7 years of client management experience with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience overseeing campus refurbs.
• Proven track record in high-end, high-volume contract catering.
• Strong customer service, and solid business & financial acumen.
• Excellent communication (listening, written, verbal) and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and inspires a diverse team at a large account to deliver top-notch service.
• Drives account performance in profitability, safety, employee engagement, and client relations.
• Participates in district leadership discussions and shares best practices.
• Weighs risk/reward in decisions with input from the team and partners.
• Fosters transparency, safety, and accountability across the account.
• Represents Chartwells within the district and at client/community events.
• Ensures client needs are met, supports cross-sell opportunities, and rebid processes.
• Supports operations including safety, marketing, nutrition, and culinary.
