Meta Reality Labs seeks an experienced Product Design Engineering Manager to lead the mechanical engineering team responsible for the structural design, materials selection, and manufacturability of wearable AR devices, including headsets and controllers.

You will partner with industrial design, electrical engineering, and operations to drive design across the full development lifecycle, set roadmaps, manage vendors, and mentor engineers toward scalable mass production.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of mechanical/product design experience in consumer electronics or wearables.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams through full product development cycles.
• Experience with CAD tools (NX/CATIA/SolidWorks) and tolerance analysis.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers and managing DFM/NPI processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a team of mechanical engineers for AR wearables.
• Partner with design and electronics to define mechanical architecture across the product lifecycle.
• Oversee tolerance analysis, simulations, and materials selection for lightweight ergonomics.
• Manage vendor relationships to meet cost, quality, and schedule targets.
• Define roadmaps, allocate resources, and drive cross-program hardware development.
