Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Calibration Engineer in Ashville, OH to lead improvements to the internal calibration program. You'll work with production, product development, and field operations to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliant calibration practices.

The role requires AS9100/AS6500 knowledge, hands-on engineering collaboration on the production floor, and interaction with vendors. A TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Science/Engineering or similar technical field.
• Experience managing calibration at a large organization and production environment.
• Experience working with and managing 3rd party calibration vendors.
• Experience with automated calibration tools and software.
• Experience improving processes and procedures around calibration.
• Familiar with AS9100 and AS6500 standards in calibration.
• Proven ability to design and deliver calibration systems for manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and drive improvements in core calibration activities for calibrated devices.
• Define project milestones, develop execution plans, and monitor progress to meet quality standards.
• Develop In-House Calibration Roadmap to optimize calibration processes.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve calibration efficiency.
• Manage calibration database and keep tool locations and owners updated.
• Improve processes to prevent equipment rotations from starving users or production.
• Support calibration procedures, training, and internal audits; conduct spot audits as needed.
• Ensure consistency and completeness in calibration plans and performance metrics.
