Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced CAE engineer to independently perform structural analysis and support advanced simulation methods for product development. You will lead system-level FEA studies, collaborate with design, test, and manufacturing teams, and mentor junior engineers in a dynamic onsite environment.

The role emphasizes improving CAE processes and applying industry-standard tools to ensure safety, quality, and development efficiency across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Automobile / Aerospace Engineering or a similar STEM field.
• At least 3 or more years of relevant industry experience based on education.
• Experience with pre-/post-processing tools for full-vehicle-level CAE model construction, visualization, and analysis (e.g., ANSA, META, HyperWorks, ModSim).
• Strong working knowledge of solvers relevant to the candidate's domain (NVH, Crash, Strength/Durability).

Responsibilities

• Independently perform FEA studies for system-level engineering analysis and lead technical activities or small projects.
• Develop, improve, and deploy CAE methods, tools, and standards to support Division strategy.
• Collaborate with design, test, manufacturing, and supplier teams to ensure product meets system requirements.
• Mentor and train engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives.
