Job summary

Employee Workplace is seeking an experienced CAE Engineer in Dearborn, MI for a hybrid, temporary assignment. The role focuses on structural CAE analysis, NVH, durability, fatigue, and impact simulations to solve complex automotive challenges.

The candidate will build and validate FE models, perform DOE studies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of CAE experience in automotive, aerospace, or related industries.
• Experience with closures systems, structural analysis, or finite element modeling.
• Proficiency with CAE tools such as Abaqus, Nastran, LS-DYNA, HyperMesh, HyperWorks, ANSA, or OptiStruct.
• Knowledge of linear static and non-linear dynamic analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAE analysis and provide engineering solutions within program deadlines.
• Build, validate, and optimize finite element (FE) models.
• Conduct structural, NVH, durability, fatigue, and impact analyses.
• Support design validation and development of engineering countermeasures.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve system-level issues.
• Develop engineering reports, status updates, and recommendations.
• Execute DOE and optimization studies to identify design alternatives.
• Support continuous improvement of CAE methods, processes, and automation.
