WW Clyde is seeking a Heavy Civil CAD Technician in Englewood, CO to lead digital modeling for large-scale projects. You will oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed models, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and surveyors to ensure accuracy and field usability.

Hands-on with Trimble, Civil 3D, SketchUp, and related tools, you’ll set standards, mentor a CAD team, and drive BIM initiatives and GPS machine control deployment across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in heavy civil CAD/BIM roles with modeling of terrain and utilities.
• Proficiency with Trimble Business Center and GPS machine control workflows.
• Strong CAD/BIM skills in Civil 3D, SketchUp; familiarity with AutoCAD/Navisworks/Revit.
• Experience updating models for design revisions and as-builts.
• Proven leadership and mentoring of CAD technicians.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; certifications are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of comprehensive 3D models for heavy civil projects; ensure construction-ready output.
• Utilize Trimble, Civil 3D, SketchUp daily; integrate survey data and design files.
• Establish CAD/BIM standards, templates, and workflows; enforce version control.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather data and validate models.
• Deploy models for GPS machine control and field layout; troubleshoot field issues.
• Mentor CAD technicians; provide hands-on training and best practices.
• Drive technology strategy by piloting new tools and BIM initiatives.
• Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure hardware/software support.
