Job summary

Facility Engineering Services (FS Group, LLC.) seeks a seasoned structural/plant layout designer and department lead to develop plant layouts, structural and mechanical drawings for industrial facilities. You will draft and modify drawings, perform QA/QC, and coordinate with engineers on large and medium projects, or multiple small projects.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in CAD design/drafting or equivalent, extensive use of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, and strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in CAD design/drafting or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software.
• Knowledge of plant layout and structural drafting.
• Familiarity with building codes and construction methods.
• Ability to visualize in 3-D and produce industrial drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plant layout, structural and mechanical drawings.
• Revise drawings under licensed professional engineer supervision.
• Produce drawings per CAD standards and industry norms.
• Provide QA/QC over drawing production and document accuracy.
• Collaborate with management to develop standards.
