Job summary

Judit Inc. is seeking an experienced engineering drafter to translate concepts into detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, generate MIL-STD-31000 TDPs, and perform rigorous drawing checks. You will support mechanical designs, tolerance analyses, and document control within a cross-functional team from lab to shop floor.

Ideal candidates have ASME Y14.5 GD&T expertise, fabrication knowledge, strong communication skills, and eligibility for U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D drafting tools.
Expert-level understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T and drawing practices.
Solid understanding of fabrication methods to ensure manufacturability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reviews and feedback.
MS Office suite proficiency.
Able to work in a team environment across lab, shop floor, and office.
Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Detailed Drafting & Modeling: translate designs into detailed 3D models and 2D drawings.
TDP Generation: produce MIL-STD-31000 compliant TDP drawings to Level 3 production.
Drawing Checking & Review: verify drawings, models, and BOMs for accuracy and manufacturability.
Low-Level Engineering: support engineering tasks for mechanical components and subsystems.
Tolerance Analysis: perform GD&T and stack-up tolerance analyses on assemblies.
Configuration Management: manage document release/revision in PDM/PLM.
Cross-Functional Support: collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Systems teams and shop floor.
