Job summary

Capacity/Laymor, a Terex Corporation company, is seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to support engineering and manufacturing teams. You will develop detailed drawings and schematics from specifications, review data, and ensure accurate layouts and BOMs using CAD software.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in engineering technology and 4–7 years of related experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and production staff in a fast-paced plant

Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAE software and ability to create and modify drawings from specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications from markups and verbal instructions using CAD tools.
• Collaborate with engineers to design, layout, and detail components and systems.
• Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and manufacturability; update BOMs and documentation.
