Job summary

Boyd Corp is seeking a Sr CAD Designer to create electro-mechanical systems in SolidWorks for liquid cooling products. You will work with refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers from concept through production, owning the design through specification, build, and test.

Responsibilities include sheet metal enclosure design, selecting fittings, tubing and hardware, creating all detail drawings, and ensuring manufacturability and serviceability while meeting schedule and

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent with hands-on CAD experience.
• 3+ years creating models and drawings in CAD for mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with sheet metal enclosures and fittings.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical/electrical designs in Solidworks from sketches into producible parts.
• Create complex assemblies and detailed drawings with proper tolerancing.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure manufacturability and cost targets.
• Support product through development and production; travel limited.
