Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: BSME; other degrees considered with applicable experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on CAD modeling in SolidWorks for mechanical assemblies (100 custom parts + 800+ off-the-shelf).
• Experience designing sheet metal enclosures and fittings; plumbing knowledge.
• Able to work independently and prioritize across projects.
• Strong problem solving and risk analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical and electrical designs in SolidWorks from sketches and verbal instructions.
• Perform sheet metal design to meet product specs.
• Evaluate trade-offs among performance, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Manage design for manufacturability and serviceability.
• Create complex SolidWorks assemblies and detailed drawings.
• Provide product support from concept through production.
