Job summary

Harley-Davidson Motor Company’s Product Development Center (PDC) in Wauwatosa, WI is seeking a Senior Designer-P&A to drive CAD design from concept through production release, focusing on detailed modeling and large assemblies using Creo Parametric.

You will collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to meet quality, cost, timing, and manufacturability goals, apply GD&T, manage PLM changes, and support data transfer across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant CAD design experience.
• Experience with large assemblies and production drawings.
• Understanding of engineering drawing standards and GD&T.
• DFMA principles and familiarity with manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Designs parts from concept development through production release.
• Creates and maintains CAD models, virtual assemblies, and detailed drawings using Creo Parametric.
• Collaborates with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to meet quality, cost, and timing objectives.
• Applies GD&T, design standards, and manages PLM changes.
• Supports data transfer and documentation for CAD assemblies.
