Harley-Davidson Motor Company seeks a Staff Engineer for the P&A Product Category to lead design, development, and delivery of motorcycle components. You will work with design, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and suppliers to achieve performance, style, cost, and timing goals.

Required are a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 8+ years in product development, and deep P&A category expertise. Proficiency with Creo and strong communication skills are essential for cross-functional leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Master’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of professional engineering experience in product development.
• Deep subject matter expertise in at least one P&A category: Fit/Function, Style, Electrical, or Performance.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and vehicle systems.
• Proficiency with CAD tools, preferably Creo.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deliver motorcycle components and systems from concept through production.
• Define and manage component requirements aligned with performance and project objectives.
• Support fitment activities and new model planning, ensuring P&A compliance.
• Create and release CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Plan and execute validation activities, DFMEAs and DVP&Rs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Provide project estimates for scope, timing, and resources.
• Mentor engineers and designers, sharing P&A best practices.
