Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in AAS drafting and CAD or related field.
• One to two years of drafting experience or six years with no AAS.
• Familiar with conventional drafting symbols and color distinction.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise and maintain engineering drawings and sketches.
• Support documents for facilities and equipment; records management.
• Obtain information from verbal input, sketches, field notes and vendors.
• Perform mathematical calculations as required.
• Proficient use of CAD software and Microsoft Office.
• Read vendor prints and equipment instructions for work integration.
• Coordinate with other company groups to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Assist in training AEP staff in basic skills of the position.
• Support Accident Prevention and Safety/Health programs.
• Demonstrate ethical behavior and comply with corporate policies.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
