Job summary

Otis is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer (Designer/Drafter) to lead CAD execution for elevator components and system assemblies in Creo and Windchill. You will act as a technical authority on CAD methods, automation, and documentation, coordinating across engineering functions to support new product development and sustaining engineering.

You will manage multiple priorities, drive standardization and continuous improvement, and mentor other engineers in Creo, Windchill,

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or related field.
7+ years of mechanical design and drafting experience.
Advanced proficiency in Creo and Windchill.
Pro/PROGRAM and TK Note experience.
Strong GD&T, drawings, and configuration control knowledge.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive schedules.

Responsibilities

Lead development, modification, and maintenance of complex CAD models, assemblies, drawings and documentation.
Develop configurable models using Creo Pro/PROGRAM.
Utilize TK Note and automation tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
Assess impact of new/modified designs and drive corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with design standards and engineering requirements.
Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams.
