Job summary

Sysco is seeking a CAD designer to create foodservice equipment drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and AutoQuotes. The role involves developing plumbing, electrical, and mechanical rough-ins, elevations, and submittal plans, while coordinating with Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and Owners as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with REVIT, AutoCAD, Auto Quotes and ability to read construction plans and other construction documents.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and work independently.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create foodservice equipment drawings using AutoCAD, Revit and AutoQuotes software.
• Complete drawings including plumbing, electrical and mechanical rough-ins, elevations and plans.
• Review drawings and submittals from manufacturers for accuracy and compare with specifications and drawings.
• Use knowledge of building codes and site requirements to determine impact on building plans.
• Generate schedules, MEPs and elevations; update plans per revisions.
