ZipStaff is seeking a Senior CAD Data Migration Architect to lead the migration of legacy data into Teamcenter for a global engineering and technology services organization. This remote role (client in Livonia, MI) focuses on metadata and NX CAD data migration, owning from analysis to validated load.

You will map source data to the Teamcenter data model, collaborate with design and build teams, and ensure data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.

Formación

• 8+ years in CAD data migration or PLM architecture.
• Led migrations of legacy data into Teamcenter with NX CAD.
• Own migration architecture from analysis to validated load.
• Experience mapping source data to Teamcenter model.
• Deep understanding of NX CAD data and metadata in PLM.
• Experience collaborating with design/build/technical teams.
• Ability to work remotely.

• Own the migration process from source system analysis through data mapping, transformation, validation, and final load.
• Define and refine mapping approaches to the Teamcenter data model in collaboration with design and build teams.
• Ensure data integrity, completeness, and accuracy throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges related to CAD data structures, relationships, and metadata.
• Support testing, validation, and readiness activities prior to production cutover.
• Provide technical guidance and documentation to support the design, build, and operational teams.

About the Opportunity

ZipStaff is seeking an experienced CAD Data Migration Architect to lead the migration of legacy data into Teamcenter for a global engineering and technology services organization.

In this role, you will own the migration architecture from source analysis through validated load, including metadata and NX CAD data. You will work closely with the design and build teams on mapping to the Teamcenter data model to ensure a clean, accurate, and well-validated migration.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the overall architecture and strategy for migrating legacy data into Teamcenter, covering both metadata and NX CAD data.
• Own the migration process from source system analysis through data mapping, transformation, validation, and final load.
• Define and refine mapping approaches to the Teamcenter data model in close collaboration with design and build teams.
• Ensure data integrity, completeness, and accuracy throughout the migration lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in CAD data migration, PLM data management, or related architecture roles.
• Proven experience leading migrations of legacy data into Teamcenter, including metadata and NX CAD data.
• Strong ability to own migration architecture from source analysis through validated load.
• Hands-on experience mapping source data structures to the Teamcenter data model.
• Deep understanding of NX CAD data, relationships, and metadata requirements in a PLM environment.
• Experience collaborating closely with design, build, and technical teams on complex migration projects.
• Ability to work remotely.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with large-scale or multi-system CAD/PLM data migrations.
• Background in engineering or manufacturing environments using Teamcenter and NX.
• Experience with data validation strategies, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
• Familiarity with additional Teamcenter modules or related PLM tools.
