Job summary

SIDRAM TECHNOLOGIES is seeking an experienced CAD Data Migration Architect to lead the migration of legacy data into Teamcenter, including metadata and NX CAD data. You will own the migration architecture from source analysis through validated load, collaborating with design and build teams on mapping to the Teamcenter data model.

Requirements include 12+ years total experience, 10+ years in Teamcenter data migration in a lead role, and US citizenship due to export-controlled access.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Teamcenter data migration experience in an architect or lead capacity.
• Hands-on experience migrating NX CAD data into Teamcenter, including assemblies and part-to-dataset relationships.
• Strong knowledge of the Teamcenter data model and BMIDE.
• Experience with Teamcenter data load methods, such as PLM XML, TCXML, or Siemens-provided import tools.
• Experience with SQL and scripting for data analysis, transformation, and validation.
• Experience designing validation and reconciliation for large data volumes.
• US citizenship (position involves access to export-controlled information).

Responsibilities

• Define the migration strategy and architecture for moving metadata and NX CAD data from legacy systems into Teamcenter.
• Analyze legacy source systems and data, and assess data quality, completeness, and cleanup needs.
• Map legacy metadata to the target Teamcenter data model and document the mapping.
• Design extraction, transformation, and load processes for items, revisions, datasets, BOM structures, and NX assemblies.
• Plan and run mock migrations, resolve load errors, and tune performance.
• Define validation and reconciliation methods to confirm data integrity after load.
• Plan and support cutover activities.
• Work with business and technical stakeholders in data and design sessions.
• Document migration designs, mappings, and procedures for handoff
