Job summary

All Native Group is seeking a Senior Cable Installer responsible for design, implementation, operation and maintenance of DOS Enterprise Telecommunications networks for voice and data services across domestic locations.

The role involves installation, upgrades, provisioning, procurement, and coordination of large-scale cable and conduit projects with possible involvement across multiple facilities and agencies.

Qualifications

• Six years experience overseeing and installing telephone, coaxial, and fiber optic cables.
• Six years experience locating and diagnosing signal defects using test equipment and visual inspection.
• Six years experience using tools and related test equipment, ground power equipment, and pressure equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provides cable and conduit services
• Upgrades and replaces systems on a scheduled basis
• Installs new systems
• Fulfills service requests for all voice and data service
• Manages and maintains all associated computer equipment rooms within the National Capital Area Region (NCR)
• Responds to and resolves incidents
• Processes configuration updates based on service changes
• Processes financial transactions based on service changes
• Conducts quality management activities and business process re-engineering
• Provides procurement of all equipment, materials, and supplies for operations and maintenance
• Supports and completes all assigned projects
• Prepares necessary reports
• Communicates directly with technical and management personnel
