Job summary

Uptalent.io is seeking a Cabinet Vision Engineer to join a U.S.-based custom cabinetry company on a full-time, long-term basis. The role focuses on translating architectural plans into precise cabinetry drawings and fabrication-ready packages.

You will work with Cabinet Vision, UCS codes, and configurations to support high-end residential and commercial projects while meeting tight turnaround targets.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency with Cabinet Vision and related standards.
• Experience applying UCS codes and custom attributes in Cabinet Vision.
• Background in cabinetry, millwork, or related fabrication environments.
• Ability to produce detailed shop drawings and manufacturing docs.
• Strong English communication and ability to work with US-based teams remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop cabinetry and millwork drawings using Cabinet Vision.
• Create floor plans, elevations, sections, renderings, shop drawings.
• Review architectural plans and project requirements.
• Apply Cabinet Vision UCS codes, attributes, configurations.
• Adhere to internal standards and workflows; ensure accuracy.
• Produce fabrication-ready documentation with materials and hardware details.
• Support commercial projects; deliver drawing packages within one week.
• Coordinate with US-based team to clarify details and revisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve drafting efficiency.
