Job summary

Genesis Woodworking is seeking qualified cabinetmakers to support fabrication and assembly of custom components. A Level 3 will meet all Level 2 expectations and mentor others, while Level 2 focuses on more complex components and architectural elements.

Candidates should be highly organized, able to read shop drawings and plans, perform material take-offs, and ensure precise geometry, laminating, veneer work, and correct hardware selection.

• Ability to create custom components from scratch using drawings and plans.
• Ability to perform material take-offs.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of woodworking methods and materials.
• Understand geometry (angles and radii).
• Complex laminating and veneer skills.
• Understanding of hardware and fasteners.
• Ability to identify and correct any construction process mistakes or drawing errors.

• Basic understanding of CNC code, how to write it and how to identify errors.
