Job summary

Artisan Design Group (ADG), a Lowe's company, is seeking a Senior Cabinet Designer for our retail/builder single-family home division. Based in our showroom, you will drive sales and margins while delivering exceptional customer service through product knowledge and refined sales techniques.

This full-time position reports to the Store Manager and requires availability during showroom hours (1-2 Saturdays/month and one weeknight).

Qualifications

• Interior design degree preferred.
• 3+ years experience in cabinet sales/design.
• Experience using 2020 Design or similar takeoff/estimating programs.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using QFloors, RFMS, or similar construction-related business management application.
• Must have a valid driver license and MVR check at time of offer.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly.
• Ability to communicate in English for training and updates.
• Math skills for bids, measurements, and basic transactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop retail and builder customer relationships and assist customers in selection process.
• Develop and maintain sales materials and stay current on product knowledge and installation.
• Prepare project bids and ensure jobs meet margin goals.
• Manage projects from start to finish with the support team.
• Participate in marketing events like seminars, trade shows and builder meetings.
• Ensure showroom and workspace are neat and orderly.
• Enter and process paperwork; collaborate with internal team.
• Occasionally make job site visits.
• Follow and enforce safety policies and procedures.
